Adding New Materials, and Individual Costs, to SecturaFAB

In secturaFAB, you have the ability to add new Materials into the system at any time. When a new material is added to the system, a new Cost must be added as well. If the material is added, and no cost is associated with it, then the material cost/price calculation, will not calculate.



Adding A New Material


  1.  Navigate to the Set-Up screen
  2. In the bottom left box, select "Material Types"
  3. Then, Click on the "+Add" button






Then, we must fill out the following:
  1. Material (name)
  2. Group
  3. Product Type
  4. Density


You can also add a description if you would like. The 5th and final step is to click save. Now we are ready to add a cost to this new material.


Adding A New Cost


  1. Navigate to the Set-Up screen
  2. In the Center Box, select "Costs"
  3. Then, Click the "+Add" button







Then, we must fill out the following:
  1. Name
  2. Cost
  3. Price
  4. Material


Now, We have a cost set up for our new material. The final steps, are to test this new material in a new quote.
