Email Templates allows you the create predefined emails with place holders.
Email templates can be used in notifications and when emailing report to customers.
Create Email Template
To create a new Email Template by selecting Add.
Template Name: Unique name for the email template.
Template Type: Select one of the email template types. This will determine the place holders and where the template will be available.
Input Box: Enter the email template using the formatting tools.
Place Holders: Place holders are placed between brackets { }. Before the email is created the place holder will be replaced with actual values.
e.g. When creating a email template for quotes the {QuoteNumber} place holder will be replaced with the quote number of the quote that is being sent.
Note : To add place holders use the "Select..." dropdown option from the formatting menu.
